1. General ProvisionsThis Privacy Policy describes how
SIA “Trentini”, registration No. 40103238403, registered address: Strēlnieku iela 8–1, Rīga, LV-1010, Latvia (the
Data Controller), collects, processes, and stores personal data obtained through the Direct Value website at directmytrentini.com (the
Website).
Personal data is processed in accordance with:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR);
- the Personal Data Processing Law of the Republic of Latvia (Fizisko personu datu apstrādes likums);
- other applicable EU data protection legislation.
2. Personal Data We CollectWe process only the personal data voluntarily provided by users through the Website’s application and contact forms, which may include:
- name or preferred form of address;
- email address and/or phone number (e.g. WhatsApp);
- country and/or project location;
- project information voluntarily submitted by the user — indicative budget, timeline, project description, and any uploaded files (e.g. specifications, estimates, brand lists);
- company name and role, if the request is submitted on behalf of a business (developer, designer, architect, broker);
- any additional information voluntarily submitted by the user.
3. Purpose of ProcessingPersonal data is processed solely for the following purposes:
- to review and qualify the user’s application for the Direct Value service;
- to contact the user following their request;
- to prepare an individual proposal or estimate;
- to maintain pre-contractual and contractual communication;
- to improve our services and communication quality.
4. Legal Basis for ProcessingPersonal data is processed based on Article 6(1) of the GDPR:
- (b) processing is necessary in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
- (f) processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Data Controller, namely responding to inquiries and providing professional services.
- (a) the data subject has given consent (e.g. for marketing communication, where requested separately);
5. Data RetentionPersonal data is retained only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected:
- until communication and proposal preparation are completed;
- or until consent is withdrawn by the data subject, where processing is based on consent.
If no contractual relationship is established, personal data is deleted no later than
24 months after the last interaction. Where a contract is concluded, data is retained for the duration required by accounting and other legal obligations of the Republic of Latvia.
6. Data Disclosure to Third PartiesPersonal data is not shared with third parties, except:
- technical service providers acting as processors (hosting, email, form-processing services);
- where required by law or competent authorities.
Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union / EEA unless adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
7. Data Subject RightsData subjects have the right to:
- access their personal data;
- request rectification or erasure;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv) or with the supervisory authority of their EU member state of residence.
